World Dog Show

One of the few benched shows in America. It is one of the longest-running sporting shows in history. It was first held in 1877, an all-breed conformation shows every year at the Madison Square Garden in New York.

The Show features agility, obedience, junior handler, and demonstration as activities the dogs must engage in, albeit in 7 different categories. The categories separate the dogs into Terrier, Sporting, Working, Toy, Non-Sporting, Hound, and Herding categories.

Wasabi, the Penkigese dog, previously won the Show. The Show will return to Madison Square Garden in June this year.

American Kennel Club National Championship

Since its inception in 2001, the AKC national championship has become one of the most popular shows. The Show is held at Orange County Convention Centre in Florida.
